Performance. Reading about my connection to the void.

Does the void leave traces? Can we perceive them? Touch them? Feel them? Keep them? Is the void our breathing space? Inhaling and exhaling. Breathing between the words I write. Between the words I speak. Right here. Now, today. The sound I make. Do the vibrations you hear inhabit the place where we are? The void fills and refills. Then empties.

The void in architecture is both the water flowing under the bridge and the air gap between the water and the bridge being built, no matter how large or inexistent. The void in architecture is seeing sunlight through the branches and leaves of a tree. It is also seeing sunlight through a network of windows in a building’s open space.
