This project explores the interaction between natural and artificial materials based on experiences in the Biesbosch, Netherlands. The project transforms the muddy texture of Biesbosch Swamp into natural materials such as agar-agar and scoby to showcase bacterial growth. Through material development, clothing items like underwear and shoes are made by mixing agar and PVC. This project visually represents the dilemma between environmental pollution and the conveniences provided by artificial materials, highlighting the invisible contaminants like PFAS that significantly affect our lives.
