Writing as a design practice.

By becoming more and more intrigued by the idea of Void while on site in Katendrecht, I started going there multiple times a week during the whole semester. The action of simply writing on site was a way of describing the feelings of being there. From being a stranger to the place that simply described their personal impressions, this work became a new way of inhabiting the space.

The final work consisted of combination of all writings, reproduced in a huge piece of fabric using only charcoal. While dressed in a custom-made jumpsuit of the same fabric, the writing left traces both on me and the fabric during the hours in the making.

The final piece was used as the stage of the performance VOID.
