Objects in our surroundings contain hidden information, sometimes impossible to grasp. The structure of a flower records continuously changing conditions of the habitat.

This project reveals both visible and invisible information in the form of colourful patterns on wallpaper. Their colour derives from floral pigments, which have been extracted, processed and applied to the wallpaper. As such it acts as an intelligent surface, where decoration and information interweave as equal features, allowing us to learn differently about our surroundings.
