Objects in This Room are Closer to Nature Than They Appear

The main topics I decided to study within both my research and design are issues associated with the relation between sound, time and space, exteriority and interiority but also the sound and its source. The sharp division between interior and exterior, even if strongly culturally imposed, is artificial and only aparent, as well as the one between technology and nature.
Our habitats can be viewed as shelters to hide from external and natural factors, including sound. Technology endures us the ability to separate sound from its original source.
This project focuses on the physicality of sound. Using archetypical domestic objects that are synchronized with external natural elements, a new process on the creation of sound within domesticity can take place. The source of the sound can be tangible and often closer than it appears.
