Tiles

A dialogue appears between what we see and what we believe we are seeing, between the real and the faux. The surface is a site that is visually conceived to represent a natural material (marble) with digital allusions.

The project is built as a series of pixels. Every marble tile is the representation of a pixel of the digital image. The material used is a mineral paper, made by a combination of mineral dust (Calcium Carbonate), the same mineral in natural marble.
