Sim Society

Sim Society explores future social dynamics following the seamless integration of simulations with our physical realities. The rendering of this experience transpires within a fictional dreamscape, where a conversation between present and future self transmits the concurrent political shifts that have taken effect alongside the employment of these enhanced technological capabilities. In this conception, simulations have effectively transformed the nature of interactions with our environments, between beings, and the relation to our own consciousness. By way of photogrammetry, fragments of reality were woven into the construction of these dream containers, akin to how our sleeping minds form our actual dreams. Guided through these speculations, questions of our individual role as designers of our own realities, as well as the balance between reality and dream; physical and virtual- demands the viewers waking consideration.
