Outside of the Grid

The drawing explores the idea of decomposing ‘the grid’ as an institutional principle, historically used to generate new spatial typologies and configurations.

From the rigidity of the grid, the composition of the drawing begins to propose movement, fluidity, and unpredictability to capture an implicit transitory interiority as a spatial quality.
