Digital Crossings

Ocean liners, transitioning across waters, glide into new hybrid spaces each journey they take. Using data as a visualization method to show the movement and the mass of these objects I created an entangled world between a found flower and open source data. The animation highlights the interactions between nature and the vehicle of the ship. Using different forms of data collection to compile and explore the Heterotopia of the ocean liner.
