How does Instagram change the perception of and interaction with the Interior? What matters is the look in the photo. Materiality, smell, even the function – everything physical is insignificant. This project started with a research phase, in which a critical attitude towards the way in which Instagram changes our focus has been the underlying base. In the site-specific work, the relation between Instagram, an exhibition entrance and the visitor is explored. The project provides a replicated, instagrammable corner that encourages self-staging, the focus is shifted to the representation on Instagram, in which the Interiors function mainly is to serve as a photogenic backdrop.
