Experiments in Feedback: Visual Deconstructions

2019
Developed as part of a project exploring the phenomenon of visual feedback, the object attempts to spatialise the transitional oscillation of light, as generated by a (projection) feedback installation. With a recording camera being focused on its output screen, dynamic and expensive colour fields occur by adjusting the camera’s focal distance. The stills are sequentially extracted from a 32 second projection feedback recording, and are printed on transparent acrylic sheets with the use of flatbed printing.
