Way to Work

Our modern working lifestyle pushes workers to the limit, to be detached from themselves and their bodies. The number of workers that experience burnout is increasing around the world, where some may decide to even end their lives. In the Netherlands, 13% of Dutch employees experience burnout according to the CBS.

HAKA building becomes a new factory, which through a sensorial and meditative experience will guide workers to be more productive, thanks to contemplation and introspection. Through their single journey in the building, the workers are directed to work inside themselves and to focus on their bodies and the surrounding environment. The route of the journey in the building is mapped according to the characteristics of the interior, which leads them to a conversation with the building’s existence.
