Warriors of the water wolf

Warriors of the water wolf is a story of war against sea plants. Cultural idioms such as zoomorphism, and tales of adaptation are documented in narrating the building of dikes and quarderning off of the sea in Flevoland. In my research I try to find voices and faces that represent the surviving warriors. Oscillating between archival research and speculation I attempt to bring to life the voices of salt water ecology through the creation of new and speculative sea warrior plants. Exploring a potential new narrative for the ecology of salt, which has long been an enemy both in agriculture and building materials. This becomes even more important as the Dutch are currently using the largest proportion of their fresh water to keep the salt in seawater out.
